This past Sunday, Project Healthy Smile, KOKOON, Local Motion, SBG Designs and M.Bridget Designs came together to host a fabulous fashion event for a cause during MN Spring Fashion Week! Styles For Smiles Spring 2011 featured a Runway Show showcasing colorful spring couture by KOKOON & Local Motion Boutique, Wine, Hors d’oeuvres, an Interactive Photo Booth with photography by Serah Sauser, music by DJ Fatty and Mini-Makeovers from Brett Dorrian Artistry Studios – all for FREE!
I had a wonderful time- and especially enjoyed how KOKOON Design Studio turned into a pop up boutique- I may or may not have bought a cute, colorful wrap dress! Why not spend some money when a portion of the proceeds from the clothing and jewelry sales will directly benefit Project Healthy Smile, a Minneapolis based non-profit working to bring oral health education and dental supplies to impoverished and underprivileged children globally. There was also a raffle and silent auction to raise money for Project Healthy Smile.
