Simply put, stripes are hard to wear.  If you want to add a little mod-flair to your wardrobe, I suggest playing around with your accessories first. A fun watch, clutch or shoe is a great first pass.  I’m loving the Sergio Rossi heels. This is a great example of incorporating stripes into your wardrobe without looking like a cartoon prison mate.

I’m off to a baseball game today with my family and I had no idea what to wear. I tried on a cute cotton dress by Jack Wills – I figured I could wear it because it is comfy and it is the same colors as the baseball team – it works right? Wrong. This did not go over well with my family. I had to look like a fan. This is my interpretation of baseball-chic. What do you think?

Blue and white is such a perfect color combination for summer, but it can quickly turn nautical if you aren’t careful. Instead of stripes, try for an all-white outfit with blue accessories for a pop of color. To keep your outfit office friendly, yet easy to transition to a night out on the town, I recommend asymmetrical silhouettes from Proenza Schouler. I’m off to Mexico in solo un MES (1 month)! What does one pack when jetsetting off to paradise with girlfriends? In an ideal world, my suitcase would be filled with Missoni dresses, swimsuits & sun hats. What better designer to wear in Mexico other than Missoni? It is really a no brainer.
